2008 Fall Adult Softball
WHO: Leagues are open to teams of adults ages 18 and older. We will offer the following leagues: Monday Night Men’s League, Tuesday Night Men’s League, Wednesday Night Men’s League and Thursday Night Co-Rec League.
WHAT: Leagues will be made up of 5-9 team divisions that will play an 8-10-game schedule.
WHERE: Registration will take place at the Recreation Department office at 191 McIntosh Rd from 8am – 5pm, Monday thru Friday, and at the Kedron Center, 202 Kedron Drive, until 9:30pm M-F, 9am – 9:30pm Sat. and 1pm – 5:30pm Sun.
Games will be played at Meade Fields on South Hwy. 74
WHEN: Returning teams (teams that played in the 2007 Fall leagues) will register during the week of August 18 – 22. New teams will begin registering the following Monday, August 25, and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis until all the league slots are full. Teams that are playing currently in the Summer leagues are not considered “returning” unless they also played in the 2007 Fall leagues.
After registration is complete, there will be a team captains’ meeting where schedules will be distributed and rules, format and other issues will be discussed. All league fees are due in full at the time of registration.
League play is scheduled to begin the week of September 29th.
HOW In-County:
$350 per team
MUCH: Out-of-County: $375 per team
Entire league fee is due at time of registration
Church teams are considered “In-County” if the sponsoring church is located within Fayette County. Open league teams are considered “In-County” if more than 50% of the players reside in the county. Open teams that register as “In-County” may be asked to have players provide proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill.
